I now have nearly 1800km on my Sportster, and I put over 400km on my mom's (yep, she has one too!!)... so I think it might be time for me to go get a bike license, no?! Hee hee!
I can't believe how much I love riding. The smells, the feeling, the freedom! Why I didn't do this twenty years ago, is beyond me. I never imagined it would be such a rush! My new wheels have covered several leisurely miles of back roads around Central Alberta, plus I've been riding to work as much as I can. Soooo fun!!

Good ol' prairie BUGS!! |
Last weekend, I rode in a poker run down in Medicine Hat. Over sixty motorcycles showed up for the event, and we had an absolute blast! The weather could not have been more perfect and I met many great people.

Nothing better than the open road! |
I am looking forward to getting a bit more gear so I can plan a full-on road trip. Another biking friend and I are talking the Oregon Coast in September... Mmmmm.... how beautiful will that be! Can't wait!!
Cheers!
