A Sweet Scramble

Wowza. Talk about bang for your buck! Today, Maree and I scrambled the super fun Paget Peak near Field, BC. We zipped up the well-trodden trail to an abandoned fire lookout, which sits across the highway and about 500m above Wapta Lake. That in itself is worth the walk - the views are amazing!

Stunning vista from the fire lookout!

Maree is double-checking our coordinates.... LOL!

Another couple of hours of plodding through scree and some small rock bands took us to the summit. And to more incredible scenery!

Look at the color of Sherbrooke Lake!

Weeeeeee! I love being up high!

Couldn't find an Inukshuk.... so we built this one.

This mountain isn't the tallest of them all, but the location is fantastic and the views of the surrounding mountains and valleys are stellar! It was yet another perfect day in the Rockies. Life is good!

Cheers!
