Sometimes, all a girl really needs are some flowers.....

Tulips - the epitome of spring!

My bestie Toni never misses a beat - every occasion is celebrated by her, and I'm lucky enough to be on the receiving end of many of her gracious gestures! Take these beautiful tulips for example... she brought them over last week, as an Easter present (along with candy of course!). Well, they smell great and are vibrantly colored.... a beautiful reminder of the changing of the seasons. Thank you my friend, they are simply lovely!

Well at least I'm making the most of it! Work is pretty 'meh' anymore... so the extra-curricular activities are where it's at!

In case you didn't notice, skiing has been on the agenda as of late. The conditions are unreal, so of course I am determined to hit the slopes as much as possible! Any time that I get to spend in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, is time that I cherish..... The fresh air, the views, the exercise, the people.... It all combines into a perfect mixture I call therapy. You should try it sometime!

Wha-whaaattt??? It's the spring solstice already? Well I shouldn't say 'already'.... It has seriously felt like things should be turning green for several weeks now. But the fact that we are nearly a quarter of the way through yet another year.... Yeeeesh.... Life - slow down! Please!!

So do you want to know what fun stuff I've been up to lately? Of course you do! It feels like all I do is work work work, but in between the hectic weeks at my job, here's what's been shakin':

Spring skiing is in full swing! Woot!

Between listening to live music and attending St. Patty's Day festivities and spending some quality time on the slopes, the month is flying by. Being that next weekend is Easter, I will get to end off March with a four-day break from the grind - which I'm so looking forward to! Talk about putting some spring in my step.... Woot! It's good to be me!
