The Patio is OPEN!

Usually I jinx the onset of spring weather, either by changing back to the summer tires on my 4-Runner, or by dragging all of my patio furniture out from winter storage. I haven't really had time to make the tire appointment yet, but brace yourself.... because I did spend a few hours yesterday organizing my deck and then enjoying a requisite patio beverage. Snow is now sure to be in the forecast!

Other fun happenings around town over the weekend included a firetruck drive-by (complete with lights and horns) to help celebrate a neighbor kid's 11th birthday.

And, the cool clouds made the daily drive as beautiful as it can get during this dry, brown, leafless time of the season.

Hope everyone is still healthy and sane as we head into Week 8 or so of this craziness! Happy Monday!

Cheers.

40 Days and 40 Nights

Okay, okay! I learned my lesson.... No more sharing of my opinion about the world's status over the past 40 days, I promise! LOL! My last couple of blog posts mysteriously had most of the photos removed, and coincidentally the posts contained buzzwords that I've read are being picked up by internet scanning programs which search for misinformation, etc.. So, no more dialogue... just some pics of a few of the ways I've been entertaining myself while not being in the mountains.

It's been a long haul, and sadly I'm sure it's far from over. Even I, a full-on introvert, am looking forward to the days when things return to normal! Staying home sucks.

Cheers.

Groundhog days.....

Wake up, go to work, come home, go to sleep, repeat.... Don't go anywhere else and don't see anyone else. Talk about not living my best life! Well, me and everyone else that is. This whole pandemic thing has almost stopped time, and I don't think anyone really knows when it will start again. So for now, I will keep laughing at the memes, and spending time alone (and outdoors when I can!).

My daily drive continues to be an unexpected source of beauty these days....

And a lovely marshland trail (the location of which I will leave undisclosed, however if you've been there you will know it) was a great place to stretch the legs one afternoon....

And on the agenda for this upcoming weekend is..... more of the same! Chin up my friends, as this certainly will not last forever. Stay healthy and as much as I hate to say it, stay home. This too, shall pass.

Cheers.

Who watches Big Bang Theory?
If you don't, you should! LOL
